Playgroups
Welcome to Arrabri Community House Playgroups.
For many parents Arrabri will be your first contact with the playgroup environment.
Playgroups provide the opportunity for getting together with other parents to chat and share experiences and for children to play in a safe and friendly environment and to enjoy new activities with others of their own age.
Play is the way children learn and develop. It provides opportunities to enhance skills in language, physical, intellectual, and social development while also developing self-confidence.
Playgroups also serve the important function of providing a forum where lasting relationships are formed between both the children and the parents.
The services at Arrabri are structured so that children are able to move from the family playgroups, the three-year-old playgroup, the kindergarten and then on to the neighboring Bayswater North Primary School.
